IGL has the only Student Video Game League in the State of Louisiana!
There are general open events for all student and there are team events which is an Olympic style competition divided up into 10 different games. Each game with different genres of video gaming all picked by the co-hosting school. Students can compete in any of the individual and team games, wherein prizes and points will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners. Points accumulated go towards the schools that the student represents. There is no limit to how many students can compete for their school or how many games they can compete in. At the end of the event, these points will be added up and the school with the most points will not only win trophies and prizes, but the IGL Foundation also makes a donation to the winning school geared towards helping their existing or future STEM/Digital Arts program.
